TotalMobile get Enterprise Mobility Wrapped Up at Industry Forum

Yesterday TotalMobile hosted a comprehensive Enterprise Mobility summit for UK private sector organisations at The Grove Hotel, Hertfordshire. The event, entitled Enterprise Mobility Wrapped Up, welcomed various influential industry speakers to provide thought leadership on the subject of mobility in enterprise and the issues surrounding implementing mobility strategies.

The agenda included presentations such as;

• Royal Mail: Mobilising Parcelforce Worldwide

Royal Mail’s Rob Widdowson discussed how they overcame various challenges to implement an effective mobile strategy

• TotalMobile: The Strategic Approach to Enterprise Mobility

TotalMobile’s  Iain MacLachlan walked through the considerations required to implement mobility in a strategic (and successful) way

• Google: Eating our own Dog Food

With their android operating system, Google are at the forefront of mobile technology, but what do Google employees use to work on the go? Jon Watson showed us the latest technology that he and colleagues use to stay productive when mobile.

• Swindon commercial Services: Realising the Benefits of Enterprise Mobility

Neil Saunders from Swindon Commercial Services gave an interesting and honest presentation on his experiences implementing a mobile strategy and how his organisation went on to achieve the benefits. 

• Capita: Banishing the Silo

Matt Stammers shared Capita’s experience in providing mobile technology to the challenging public sector and how the solution was to provide a single enterprise wide approach.

• BlackBerry: Consumerisation of Mobile in Business: How to Embrace the Trend

BlackBerry’s Anthony Tate examined what consumerisation of Mobile Technology can truly mean and outlined the big considerations and actions organisations need to take so this trend can have a positive impact on business.

The day also included valuable networking opportunities for the delegates as well as the chance to see TotalMobile software demonstrations on the latest mobile devices. Host and Speaker, TotalMobile’s Iain MacLachlan said “This was a great event and it was a real honour to host. The speakers made some really fascinating presentations and I think everyone who attended got something out of it. We’re really looking forward to host more events like this one in 2012.”
